Bar Longhi, The Gritti Palace, Venice It’s taken 15 months and $50 million to restore the landmarked Gritti Palace to its glory: hand-laid terrazzo floors, furniture upholstered in fabrics from storied local firm Rubelli, walls covered with antique mirrors. Bar Longhi takes its name from the three scenes painted by Pietro Longhi that still hang there.
